Mansour Adam Mahmoud is currently an associate professor at the Department of Clinical and Hospital Pharmacy, College of Pharmacy, Taibah University. He has more than 10 years of experience in teaching, learning and research. His areas of research interest are pharmacovigilance, clinical pharmacy practice, pharmacy education and global health. Mansour has authored and co-authored more than 80 scientific manuscripts published in International peer-reviewed journals. He has also authored and co-authored two book chapters. His current Google Scholar H-index is 17, i-10 27, citations 1123. Mansour has actively participated in the WHO Global Patient Safety Challenge: Medication without Harm which was launched in 2017 aiming to reduce medication-related harm by 50%. Mansour has served as an associate editor and lead a research topic about “Medication Safety and Interventions to Reduce Patient Harm in Low- and Middle-Income Countries” which resulted in the collection of 19 manuscripts. He is an active member and a co-author in the Global Burden of Disease Collaborator Network, Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, University of Washington, USA. He was awarded several travel awards from International organizations to present his research studies in Canada, Taiwan and the UK.
