简介

Hong Zhang was born in Wuhan, China, in 1969. He received the D.M.S. degree in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine at Gunma University School of Medicine, Japan, in 2000. He was a Joint Doctoral Fellow in St. bartholomew’s Hospital of the University of London in UK from 1998 to 1999 and a Postdoctoral Fellow supported by the Japan Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS) from 2000 to 2002, in Japan. From 2002 to 2004, Zhang was a Senior Medical Scientist at the National Institute of Radiological Sciences (NIRS) in Japan. Presently, he is a Professor and the Chairman of the Department of Nuclear Medicine at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine and Center of Excellence of Medical Molecular Imaging of Zhejiang Province, China. He also serves as the Vice President of Young Professional Committee of Chinese Society of Nuclear Medicine and President-Elect of the Society of Nuclear Medicine of Zhejiang Province in China. His research focuses on functional diagnostic imaging in oncology and neurology, stem cell and gene imaging, imaging probe development for PET, MRI, and optical imaging. He is the recipient of five Awards from the JSNM, AMI, AACR, and ASCO. He serves as the Editorial Board Member of European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, World Journal of Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Medicine Communications, Annals of Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, and Oncology.
