Hesham Ali

Hesham Arafat ali is a Prof in Computer Engineering and systems Prof. Hesham Arafat Ali is the Head of Computer Engineering at SUTech and a distinguished Professor of Computer Systems. He earned his BSc, MSc, and PhD from Mansoura University, where he later served as Vice Dean for Student Affairs. His international academic career includes a tenure as a Visiting Professor at the University of Connecticut, USA. With a prolific research record, Prof. Hesham has published over 260 papers in international journals and conferences and contributed to several books by global publishers. He was honored with the Highly Commended Award from the Emerald Literati Club for his groundbreaking research in network security. A dedicated mentor, he has supervised more than 115 MSc and PhD students, shaping the next generation of engineers. Beyond academia, he is a pivotal figure in the national scientific community, serving on Egypt’s Supreme Scientific Committees and acting as a reviewer for numerous high-impact international journals. He has led 12 major research projects and maintains a strong footprint in the industrial sector, bridging the gap between theoretical research and practical applications in AI, network management, and pattern recognition. As a founding member of the IEEE SMC Technical Committee on Enterprise Information Systems, he continues to drive innovation in smart engineering and secure distributed databases
