Fatma A. Hashim received her PhD. degree in biomedical engineering from the Biomedical Engineering Department at Helwan University in 2020. Her PhD dissertation was entitled “Motif Finding in DNA genomic sequences”. She attended the ITI “system development department” in 2009. She has also worked as a software developer at ministry of communication between Sept. 2018 and Aug. 2019. Her research interests include image and signal processing, bioinformatics, optimization and metaheuristics.
