In the research aspect, I have two six-year terms granted and an H-index of 15, a reflection of my authorship or co-authorship in more than 25 articles in international journals with JCR impact. I am also the author or co-author of more than 40 articles in congresses and symposia, national and international. I have carried out research stays, of one month or more, in several foreign universities, such as Stanford University (USA), the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (Switzerland) or the University of Gothenburg (Sweden), among others. I have received several scholarships and grants such as the José Castillejo or NGI Explorers to carry out these stays, although others have been financed by the hosting center, such as the first of the two carried out at Stanford. I have participated in a dozen national and Community of Madrid R&D projects, with published scientific results, and I have obtained two as IP: one financed by the UNED and the other by Banco Santander.
In addition, I am developer, coordinator, and administrator of UNILabs, a portal and a network of virtual and remote laboratories shared by several groups of Spanish universities. Likewise, I am the main developer of a set of tools and extensions for Moodle that facilitate and improve the integration of virtual and remote laboratories in Moodle, one of which, received the "Moodle Reviewers' Choice" recognition, granted by the developers of said platform. I am also co-founder of Nebulous Systems, a technology-based company, spin-off of the University of Huelva, which provides IoT solutions for teaching and research.
In the teaching and social aspects, I have two five-year terms granted, and I participate in all university levels: Degree, Master, and Doctorate, having also been Director of two students who have already obtained their Doctorate and five who are now in process, and of multiple final degree projects (nine) and final master's projects (thirteen). I have been carrying out teaching activity since the Academic Year 2011-2012 (specifically, since 01/01/2012, when I obtained the position of Assistant) and I have participated in six different subjects to date. I have participated in three Erasmus+ teaching projects and I have obtained the UNED Social Council Award for good teaching practices. I have also participated in eight Teaching Innovation Networks, for two different universities and leading one of them. I am Coordinator of the Teaching Innovation Group "Interactive Tools for Experimentation Tasks (HITE)". The teaching production also includes a textbook currently used in one of the subjects of the Degree of the UNED, and various publications in journals and congresses of an educational nature, having participated as a speaker in a dozen conferences and teaching symposia. Finally, I have a patent under exploitation by a private company and I have participated in several radio programs intended for popular science.
