Javier Jerez‐Roig

He works as a Professor (Serra Hunter program) in the University of Vic-Central University of Catalonia. Dr. Jerez-Roig lectures in the subjects Community Physiotherapy and Geriatric Physiotherapy. He is the Head of the Research Group on Methodology, Methods, Models and Outcomes of Health and Social Sciences (M3O). Also, he is the Research Adviser of the Catalan Board of Physiotherapists. He also is a Senior Researcher at the Lithuanian Sports University. Doctor in Public Health by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (Natal, Brazil) in 2016. Master in Public Health by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (Natal, Brazil) in 2014. Physiotherapy Degree by the University of Valencia in 2002. He worked as a physiotherapist in the public and private health system (Policlínica Nuestra Señora del Rosario, Hospital Can Misses, Hospital Residencia Asistida de Cas Serres or different primary health centres in Ibiza) during a period of 12 years. Research areas: Physical Therapy / Rehabilitation, Gerontology / Geriatrics, Public / Health Epidemiology, specifically ageing and pelvic health; 94 published articles or accepted for publication.
