• I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow within ECU’s Nutrition & Health Innovation Research Institute. By profession, I am a pharmacist and pharmacologist with expertise in drug safety, epidemiology and clinical trials of cardiovascular disease and musculoskeletal disorders.
• My research interests include unlocking why and how cardiovascular disease (CVD) increases the risk of falls, fractures, and dementia to develop evidence-based therapies to reduce CVD associated complications, thereby promote healthy aging.
• To date, I have published over 50 peer-reviewed publication (>30,000 cites) in top-tier medical journals such as the Lancet, the Journal of American Heart Association, the British Medical Journal and BMJ Heart.
